Hi! I'm Carin, a devoted wife, and a mother to a beautiful teenage son. My journey to becoming a certified Peer Recovery Specialist, Life & Wellness Coach started with my own life experiences with unmet childhood needs, trauma, substance abuse disorder and codependent, toxic relationships. My journey over the past 18+ years in recovery has made me realize that I couldn't do it alone, and having a trusted person to work things out with, through courageous yet confidential conversations in order to gain clarity and process the past, was paramount to stepping up confidently with faith and into an abundant life that I could never before have imagined.
So now, in 2023, I have felt compelled to step up and share with those still suffering, what I have gained, and by combining my love for people, nature and animals, I have been blessed with a tranquil space where inner healing through various connection mediums can take place.
Offering individual and group support to preteens, teens, adolescents, parents and other adults alike, and specializing in various Connection workshops designed to educate, support and uplift scholars, corporate environments, parents & family systems.
I hope my story will inspire you to simply show up for yourself, in all of your true authenticity, no matter what that looks like or where you're at right now. No judgment, no pressure, no criticism. ONE ON ONE (R550)
Connecting real people with real life management tools through the magic of equine assisted therapy. These groups are held by certified life, recovery & wellness coaches, and designed as a safe space for groups of clients from various schools, treatment centres and corporate companies to encourage emotional support, growth and team building. Group refreshments included. Transport not included.
LIFE, WELLNESS AND ADDICTIONS RECOVERY (R450)
A safe and confidential space to unpack emotional baggage, learn coping tools, and set plans in order to reach personal goals. Held by Carin, a certified Peer Recovery Specialist & Wellness Coach. 1-on-1 and face to face. Online sessions also available. Extended telephonic support at no extra charge. First intro session is free.
WORKSHOPS
Interactive connection workshops. Designed for institutions as informative outings for their clients in both the addictions recovery & wellness fields. Designed for school-going learners (preteen, teen, adolescent), private individuals and corporate team-building. I had the gift of meeting Carin in October 2022 at the lowest point of my life. I was in homeless , penniless, jobless , and hopeless.
